Dean quickly realized that the pandemic was a “crisis-induced” opportunity – his opportunity – because he had the executive-level skills, experience and knowledge that was in high-demand, to:
- Transform business at the urgent pace required
- Facilitate, reset and execute tactical strategic plans
- Optimize operational processes both in a remote and hybrid environment
- Efficiently execute corporate integrations to benefit from economies of scale
- Assess current business risk and mitigate future business disruptions.
It was time to launch Core Business Intelligence.
The opportunity was now. The historic business transformational shift was happening before our eyes, and that became the Core Business Intelligence focus for offering Operational Efficiency, Strategic Planning, Integration Execution and Risk Management solutions in three different formats – Fractional, Interim and Business Advisory Executive services.
Core’s Fractional Executive service immediately resonated with its first two clients, and within a matter of weeks, one organization requested 50% of our time, while another company asked for 20% of our time, and a third client selected the hourly Business Advising service. Many of our clients did not need a full-time, permanent executive. What they needed, was a proven executive leader with extensive operational experience, who could wear multiple hats and hit the ground running, but then quickly exit, when they were ready to fly.

Since our inception, Core Business Intelligence has continued to grow and evolve, through select strategic partnerships with global companies. Our first partnership was with StereoLOGIC, the world’s quickest process mining solution and one of the fastest, most cost-effective ways to document, measure, improve and automate operational business processes using Artificial Intelligence. We then established an exclusive strategic planning partnership with Karen Sample, Canada’s only Certified Brand Strategist.
